〘 noun 〙 An official document that grants a special tax-free privilege to a particular manor. It refers to the Dajokan document or the Minbushofu issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs by order of the Dajokan. Manors that were granted this privilege were called Kanshofu manors. *Rozanji documents - Tendai Zasu Ryogen's will dated May 3, 972 (Tenroku 3): "On the day of the retired emperor's reign, I will report the matter and grant the Kanshofu to the province."
