Kawamuki - Kawamuki

Japanese: カワムキ - かわむき
Kawamuki - Kawamuki

...The skin is hard, and the scales are small and have tiny spines, so the surface of the body is villiform. Local names such as Hage in the Seto Inland Sea region and Kawamuki in Fukuoka, as well as the standard Japanese name Kawahagi, are named after the fact that the hard skin is peeled off and served at the table. The first dorsal and pelvic fins have degenerated, leaving only a single spine each.
