In the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, she is described as the daughter of Emperor Ingyo. Her illicit love affair with her full brother Prince Karu was discovered, and in the Kojiki, she follows Prince Karu to the hot springs of Iyo, and in the Nihon Shoki, she is said to have been exiled to Iyo.
