...After a few years, the seeds scatter. Among the Callistemon (bottle brush) genus, some of the more popular ornamental plants include C. rigidus R.Br., which has leaves similar to those of the bottle brush, C. salignus (Sims.) DC., which has yellow-white flowers, and C. lanceolatus DC., which has beautiful flowers. They are propagated by seed, cuttings, and layers.
