...A mountain range with an H-shaped plan view, the main ridge on the west side stretching north-south is the main range, and the highest peak, Okuhotakadake (3190m), is located at the point where the ridge branches off to the east from this main range. From Okuhotakadake to the north, it passes through the saddle of Shiradashi, where the Hotakadake Mountain Lodge is located, to Karasawadake (Karasawadake, 3110m), Kitahotakadake (3106m), and finally to Minamidake of the Yarigatake mountain range, across the saddle of the Okirito.
