Japanese: 亀屋久兵衛 - かめやきゅうべえ
Kameya Kyubey

...A scholar of the Sekimon school of thought in the mid-Edo period. His name was Yoshimichi, and he was commonly known as Kameya Kyubei, and Doji was his pen name. He was born in a weaving shop in Nishijin, Kyoto, and after turning 40, he became a disciple of Teshima Toan. In 1779 (An'ei 8), he went down to Edo to preach in the Kanto region, and founded the Sanzensha.
