The ruins of an ancient city on the northwest coast of the island of Rhodes in the Aegean Sea, eastern Greece. One of the three major ancient polises on the island. Founded by the Dorians, it flourished around the 6th century BC. Remains of the agora, temples, and houses remain. Kamiros.
