...The Serikup language is spoken in the area from the Yenisei River in the east to the middle reaches of the Ob River in the west, the Tas River in the north, and the Ket River in the south. It is divided into dialects such as Tas, Tim, and Ket, and is spoken by about 4,300 people (Serikup people). Kamasi was once spoken near the Sayan Mountains in southern Siberia, but is now extinct. The Finnish man MACastrén investigated Samoyedic and wrote a grammar (1854) and a dictionary (1855), and the local GN Prokof'ev also wrote a grammar outline (1937). ...
