In Hebei during the Jin and Yuan dynasties, where Quanzhenism was established, Daoism (later the character "zhen" was added to make it Daoism of True) by Liu Deren and Taiyiism (Tao) by Xiao Baozhen were also founded. Like Quanzhenism, they gained followers among the common people and preached a simple practical ethics of the unity of the three religions (theory of the unity of the three religions). However, as a theological doctrine or philosophical thought, these so-called Hebei New Taoisms are not at all different from the Taoism in "Yun'ei Qi Lian," and they have parallelized, flattened, or simplified Buddhism and Confucianism as "the teachings of Tao" that the former had incorporated into its layered structure in a three-dimensional way in the form of the unity of the three religions. The Confucian scriptures that Quanzhenism places great importance on, such as the Heart Sutra, Bodhidharma's Zen teachings, the Book of Filial Piety, and the Doctrine of the Mean, have already been incorporated into the Taoist theological doctrine in the Qi-Ji Dynasty, and they have been simplified and simplified as religious practical ethics for the common people.
