Kanoko lily - Kanoko lily

Japanese: カノコユリ - かのこゆり

A bulbous plant of the lily family (APG classification: Liliaceae). It grows wild in Kyushu and Shikoku, and its flowers come in pink, red, and white. They are about 10 cm in diameter, with a kanoko pattern on the inside of the petals, which are strongly everted and open into a globular shape. The plant is 150 cm tall.

ユリ科（APG分類：ユリ科）の球根草。九州、四国に自生し、花色は桃、赤、白があり、花径10センチメートルくらい、花弁の内側に鹿の子模様の斑(ふ)が入り、弁は強く反転し、球状に開く。草丈150センチメートル。
