He speaks to an elderly couple who are flower guardians who have arrived, who explain that the cherry trees here are transplants of those from Yoshino, and that the gods of Mount Yoshino visit them from time to time. They then reveal that they are in fact a married couple of gods, Kimori Myojin (Mae-jite) and Katte (Katsu-mae) Myojin (Mae-zure). As night falls, Kimori and Katte appear as a young male and female god, and perform a dance in celebration of the flowers (Watari-byashi: Ten-nyō-no-mai). …
