Japanese: 片手人形 - カタテニンギョウ
One-handed puppet - Katateningyō
In a marionette, the left hand supports the body and the right hand moves the right hand. The left hand of the puppet is not moved. This is seen in Bunraku puppets and folk puppet plays in various regions.
