Tomokage Kajiwara

Japanese: 梶原朝景 - かじわらともかげ

?-1213 A military commander of the Kamakura period.
In 1200, he followed his older brother, Kajiwara Kagetoki, who plotted a rebellion against the shogunate, but when Kagetoki was killed in the Battle of Kitsunezaki in Suruga (Shizuoka Prefecture), he surrendered to the Hojo clan. In 1201, he joined Wada Yoshimori's rebellion and resisted the shogunate and the Hojo clan again, but was defeated and killed on May 3 of the same year. He was from Suruga. He was commonly known as Osakabe no Jō. His given name was also Tomokage.

正治(しょうじ)2年(1200)幕府に謀反をくわだてた兄の梶原景時にしたがうが,景時が駿河(するが)(静岡県)狐崎の合戦で戦死すると,北条氏に降伏。建暦(けんりゃく)3年和田義盛の反乱にくわわり,ふたたび幕府,北条氏に抗したが,同年5月3日敗死した。駿河出身。通称は刑部丞。名は友景ともかく。
