Japanese: 核分裂性物質 - カクブンレツセイブッシツ
Fissile material

A substance that undergoes nuclear fission when it absorbs thermal neutrons. 235 U is the only naturally occurring fissile material. 232 Th and 238 U react with neutrons to produce the fissile compounds 233 U and 239 Pu, respectively.
