[1] 〘 noun 〙① A corridor elevated above ground. [Shinsen Jikai (1872)]② A path made by laying wooden timber across the corners of rocks on high mountains. Plank road. Bridge. ※Shiji Sho (1477) 7 "Plank road is a paved road." [2] The name of a star. In China, it refers to the six stars that line up in a line on the west side of the constellation Cassiopeia. [Shoku Nihongi - Yoro 6th year (722) July Jinshin]
