Gaucho Plains - Gaucho Plains

…It is located on the south shore of Lake Patos and has a good port. It is a distribution center for the livestock farming areas of the Gaucho Plain (Pampa) in the southern part of the state, and forms a pair of urban areas with Pelotas (54 km to the north, population 260,510, 1991), and the port directly connects the area to the direction of São Paulo.
