Nymphonella tapetis (English name)
Class: Pycnogonidae, Order: Pycnogonidae. Body length: about 8 mm, walking leg length: about 1.5 cm. Adults live in shallow sea sand and mud, while larvae live parasitically in the mantle cavity of several bivalve mollusks (→ Bivalves), such as the clam and the ocellated shell. They have been found in Tokyo Bay, along the coasts of Kyushu, and in southern France. (→ Pycnogonidae, Arthropods)
