Born in a small village in Lower Egypt, he studied Shafi'i law in Alexandria, and then worked at the Cairo Archives Office from 1389. Using the experience he gained there, he wrote the extensive 14-volume book on training civil servants, "Dawn." His other works include "The Benefits of Consideration," which systematically explains the caliphate and its history. [Sato Tsugitaka] Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
