During the Warring States period, it was the territory of the Wei state, and in the Han dynasty, Henei County was located in the west, later called Huaizhou, and in the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was called Huaiqing Prefecture. The administrative center was originally Huai County, but in the Jin dynasty, it moved to Yewang County, and after the Sui dynasty, it was renamed Henei County, which corresponds to today's Qinyang County. ...
