A similar legend is the legend of the heir's island crossing, in which Yoshitsune crosses an island called Chishima or Ezogashima while in Oshu, and steals a secret military strategy called "Dainichi no ho" from the king of demons with the help of the king's daughter (Otogi-zōshi "Hiroshima crossing").
