Orange Bitter

Orange Bitter

…It is often called bitters in the singular form. The most commonly used are Angostura bitters and orange bitters, both of which are used to flavor cocktails. Angostura bitters was developed as a stomachic by JGB Seegert, a military doctor in the liberation army during the Venezuelan War of Independence, and was perfected in 1828 in Angostura (now Ciudad Bolivar) on the Orinoco River, hence the name.
