A brand of Scotch whisky (blended). One of the most well-known brands of blended whisky, invented in the late 19th century. It is named after Thomas Parr, an Englishman who is said to have lived to be 152 years old. It is known that in the early Meiji period, Iwakura Tomomi brought it back from his visit to Europe and the United States and presented it to Emperor Meiji. The main raw liquor is "Cragganmore". スコッチウイスキー(ブレンデッド)の銘柄のひとつ。19世紀後半に考案された、ブレンデッドウイスキーの代表的銘柄のひとつ。名称は152歳まで生きたとされるイギリス男性、トーマス・パーの名にちなむ。明治初頭、岩倉具視が欧米歴訪の際に持ち帰り、明治天皇に献上したエピソードが知られる。主要な原酒は「クラガンモア」など。
