Old Delhi

The Delhi Triangle has the so-called Old Delhi, centered on the Delhi Fort, at its northern tip, and historically developed in the order of the southern part of the triangle, then Old Delhi, and further south to New Delhi. Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandava princes depicted in the Mahabharata, is said to have been located at the present-day Purana Qila (meaning "old fort") in the east of New Delhi.
