(1) Murakami Genji Kuga line In the early Kamakura period, Masachika, the son of Michisuke, the second son of the Minister of the Interior, Masamichi Kuga, took the name of Karahashi. His younger brother, Michitoki, also took the name of Karahashi, but their descendants died out after a few generations. (2) Sugawara family name According to the Sugawara family tree, the seventh generation, Ariyoshi (late Heian period), a descendant of Michizane, took the name of Karahashi. In the Meiji period, he became a viscount.

(1) 村上源氏久我流　鎌倉時代初期，久我内大臣雅通の2子通資の子雅親が唐橋を称した。その弟通時も唐橋を号したが，子孫は数代で絶えた。 (2) 菅原姓　菅原系図によると，道真の後裔で7世在良 (平安時代後期) が唐橋を称した。明治にいたり子爵となる。
