Oninishi - Oni Nishi

...The meat is eaten, the shells are used to make shell crafts, and the egg sacs are dyed and sold at beaches and festivals. H. crassicaudus is similar to this species, but its shell is thicker and broader, with a sharp shoulder protuberance and a swollen inner lip at the opening. It is distributed along with the previous species, but in small numbers.
