Oxford Street - Oxford Street

It is part of a major road that crosses the West End of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, from east to west, and is the name of about 2 kilometers between St. Giles Square and Marble Arch. In the east, it passes through New Oxford Street, Holborn, and Newgate Street, and reaches the center of the City. In the west, it connects the northern edge of Hyde Park to the western suburbs via Bayswater Street. It is one of the city's leading shopping streets, but the areas around Soho, Bond Street, and Piccadilly Circus near the Thames are busier.

イギリスの首都ロンドンのウェスト・エンドを、ほぼ東西に横断する幹線道路の一部で、セント・ジャイルズ広場とマーブル・アーチ間約2キロメートルの名称。東はニュー・オックスフォード街、ホルボーン、ニュー・ゲイト街を経てシティの中心部に至る。また西はハイド・パークの北縁からベイズウォーター通りを経て西郊に連絡している。市内屈指のショッピング街であるが、テムズ川寄りのソーホー、ボンド街、ピカデリー・サーカス周辺のほうがにぎやかである。
