Born on October 12, 1873. Traveled to Shanghai and became a correspondent for the Tokyo Nichi Nichi Shimbun. Later, he met Sun Yat-sen in Hong Kong, and in 1905, he supported Sun Yat-sen and others in founding the Chinese Revolutionary Alliance in Tokyo. In 1937, he contacted the Nationalist government and attempted to work toward peace between Japan and China, but failed. He became a member of the House of Peers. He passed away on April 14, 1947, at the age of 75. He was from Kochi Prefecture and graduated from Hainan School. His works include "The Secrets of the Chinese Republic Revolution."
