Oshidomari - Oshidomari

A port village on Rishiri Island in northern Hokkaido. It is the island's main gateway, with ferries running between Wakkanai and Oshidomari. It is the central village of Rishirifuji Town, where the town hall is located, and the trailhead to the island's main peak, Mount Rishiri (1,721m). It is also home to the marine research facility affiliated with Sapporo Medical University. 北海道北部，利尻島にある港湾集落。稚内－鴛泊間のフェリーが発着する島の表玄関。利尻富士町の中心集落で，町役場がおかれ，島の主峰利尻山 (1721m) の登山口。札幌医科大学の附属臨海研究施設も設置されている。
