Japanese: 御蔵入 - おくらいり

〘Noun〙① In the Sengoku and Edo periods, this was land directly owned by the Shogun (bakufu) and daimyo (private domains ) from which annual taxes and other duties were directly collected. Land distributed to vassals was called kyuchi, whereas this was called kurairi-chi , and the rice stored therein was called gokuramai. The lord's living expenses and the salaries of various officials were paid from this storehouse rice. Gokurairi-chi. ② When a scheduled performance of a Kabuki play, Kyogen, or film is cancelled.
