...It is a fish that changes its name as it grows. Around Tokyo, it goes from Koppa (total length about 10cm) → Seigo (25cm) → Fukko (35cm) → Suzuki (over 60cm) → Ootaro (old adult fish), and around Lake Hamana, it goes from small to large: Seigo → Matakaa → Oomata → Kochuu → Chiuo → Ochuu → Omono. Young fish are called Akambakura in the Ariake Sea, Seppa in Miyagi, and Hikariko in Lake Kasumigaura.
