Linear alkyl benzenesulfonic acid. A soft ionic synthetic detergent. A type of surfactant that is important for removing dirt. The phosphoric acid in the detergent caused an abnormal growth of algae, which was said to cause river and lake pollution, which became a problem. Currently, it does not contain any phosphoric acid.
