STOL - Estoll

...An aircraft that has a short runway distance for takeoff and landing and can take off and land at a small airport. STOL is also an abbreviation of short take-off and landing aircraft. The distance required for takeoff and landing to be considered STOL varies depending on the size and type of aircraft, and there is no clear rule, but for a medium-sized transport aircraft, the length of the runway required for takeoff and landing, including safety margins, is 1200m or more for a normal transport aircraft, while a short take-off and landing transport aircraft only needs about 600m.
