An industry group called "SDA (SD Card Association)". It was founded in 2001 by Panasonic, SanDisk, and Toshiba. As of 2009, it has approximately 1,300 member companies involved in the design, development, manufacture, and sale of products that use SD technology. 業界団体 「SDA ＝ SDカード アソシエーション」 。パナソニック、サンディスク、東芝の 3社によって平成13（2001）年に創立された組織。2009年現在では、SDテクノロジーを使用した製品の設計・開発・製造、さらに販売に携わる会員企業は約1,300社。この団体でSDカードの規格の標準化も行っている。
