Born on July 10, 1900. In 1926, he founded Japan's first commercial photography studio, Kinrinsha, with Suzuki Hachiro. He published "How to Make New Photography" and introduced new techniques. He became a professor at Nihon University's Department of Photography. He passed away on December 7, 1977. He was 77 years old. He was born in Tokyo.
