Uma-uo (Dragon's Offspring) - Uma-uo

...A general term for marine fish in the genus Hippocampus, family Syngnathidae, order Syngnathidae, or one of these. The genus Hippocampus means a monster with a horse's neck and a dolphin's body, and is also called sea horse in English, and in Japan it is called Uma-uo (Kochi) or Umiuma (Wakayama). This species has a head bent at a right angle, giving it a shape reminiscent of a horse.
