A field of study called "Management of Technology." It is aimed at liberal arts-based business people, engineers, and researchers involved in management and strategy planning at technology-based companies, as well as potential entrepreneurs aiming to start technology-based companies. The term "technology" covers a wide range of fields, including IT, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. In Japan, it is offered at universities across the country, including Waseda University and Shibaura Institute of Technology.
