...It contains 26 volumes of the annals, 1 volume of biographies of nobles who founded the country, 2 volumes of biographies of Hanyuan literature, 3 volumes of articles related to the states of Chu and Qi, 6 volumes of systems and other matters, 1 volume of written oaths between the Song and Jin dynasties, and 1 volume of records of the travels of Xu Kangzong's envoys. The Records of the Great Jin Dynasty was compiled in 1234 (Duanping 1) by Yuwen Maozhao, who came from Jin to Song, but the contents have been significantly expanded by later authors. This book is an edited version of articles related to the Jin dynasty, selected from other books, and even includes fictional stories, which reduces its value as a historical document, but it contains many important articles that can only be found in this book....
