Japanese: ウフアガリジマ - うふあがりじま
Ufuagarijima - Ufuagarijima

...In Amami, it is called Niruya or Neriya, and in Yaeyama, it is called Neera, Neil, or Niraisuku, and in some areas, the word Niraikanai is obsolete. Also, words such as Ufuagarijima have almost the same meaning. It is thought of in an ambiguous way that not only does it bring fertility, but also that it is where plague and impurity from the villages are sent to.
