Japanese: 于闐語 - うてんご

...The language of the Central Asian Saka language, which is related to the language of the Saka people who flourished in northwestern India and Afghanistan from before Christ, is the language of documents excavated in Khotan. This language belongs to the Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family (Medieval Iranian language), and is also called Khotanese or Yutian (the Chinese name for Khotan). Khotanese Saka documents are thought to have been written by around the middle of the 10th century.
