...The size varies depending on the species, but most are 10-20cm, some are over 20cm, and some are less than 5cm. About 20 species grow along the coast of Japan, including species whose bodies consist of a single layer of cells (Asakusa-nori, Susabinori, Uppuri-nori, Oniamanori, etc.) and species whose bodies consist of two layers of cells (Tasa, Huiri-tasa, Benitasa, etc.). In general, those with a single layer of body are soft and delicious.
