Katsuragi Madoka - Katsuragi no Tsuburara

In the Kojiki and Nihon shoki, he is written as Oomi (En Daijin) and Tsuburaoimi. Oomi is not an official position but an honorific title. The Kugyo Bunin states that he was the son of Tamata no Sukune. According to the Nihon Shoki, in the second year of Emperor Richu's reign, he governed the country with Heguri no Tsukuno Sukune, Soga no Machi no Sukune, and Mononobe no Ikofu no Omuraji, and in the third year of Emperor Anko's reign, he hid Prince Mayowa no Okimi, who had murdered the emperor, in his own home, and was burned to death by Prince Ohatsuse (Yuryaku). As an atonement for his sins, he offered his daughter Karahime and the seventh house of his father, but his sins were not forgiven.

記紀には円大臣(おおおみ)（円大使主(おおおみ)）、都夫良意富美(つぶらおおみ)の名で記される。大臣(おおおみ)は官職ではなく尊称。『公卿補任(くぎょうぶにん)』に玉田宿禰(たまたのすくね)の子とある。『日本書紀』によれば、履中(りちゅう)天皇2年、平群木菟宿禰(へぐりのつくのすくね)、蘇賀満智宿禰(そがのまちのすくね)、物部伊莒弗大連(もののべのいこふのおおむらじ)と国政を執(と)り、安康(あんこう)天皇3年、天皇を殺害した眉輪王(まよわのおおきみ)らを自宅にかくまい大泊瀬(おおはつせ)皇子（雄略(ゆうりゃく)）により焼殺されたという。贖罪(しょくざい)のため女(むすめ)の韓媛(からひめ)と宅七区(ななところ)を献じたが許されなかった。
