…The Ayala Plan was announced by the Zapata faction on November 28, 1911, and it became clear that the movement was heading for land reform. This Madero period (May 1911 to February 1913) was the second stage of the revolutionary upheaval. The old regime then fought back, assassinated Madero, and established the counter-revolutionary government of Victoriano Huerta (1854-1916). This Huerta period (February 1913 to July 1914) was the third stage of the upheaval. During this time, forces in northern Mexico, led by Carranza, who advocated constitutionalism, rose up to overthrow the Huerta government, and succeeded in expelling Huerta in July 1914. However, the revolutionary upheaval split into the Carranza faction, which represented landlords, capitalists, and the middle class, and the Zapata and Villa factions, which represented the peasants, and by the fall of 1914, it had developed into a civil war. …

…11年11月28日にサパタ派による〈アヤラ計画〉が発表されて農地改革運動への展開が明らかになったが，このマデロ時代(1911年5月～13年2月)が革命動乱期の第2段階である。そして，旧体制派が巻き返してマデロを暗殺し，ウエルタVictoriano Huerta(1854‐1916)反革命政権を樹立したが，このウエルタ時代(1913年2月～14年7月)が動乱期の第3段階である。この間，立憲主義を主張したカランサを中心とするメキシコ北部勢力がウエルタ政権打倒を目ざして立ち上がり，14年7月ウエルタの追放に成功したが，革命動乱は地主･資本家･中産階級を代表するカランサ派と農民を代表するサパタ派およびビリャ派に分裂して，14年秋には内戦状態へと発展した。…
