General price level

A comprehensive price level that covers all economic activity. Consumer prices and wholesale prices indicate the prices of goods ultimately consumed by households and the prices of goods traded in wholesale and trade, respectively, and are price levels limited to a specific range. To be a general price level, it is necessary to cover all aspects, such as economic entities such as the government, companies, and households, factor prices of interest, wages, and rent, and consumption and investment expenditures. In current statistics, the GNP deflator is used to represent the price level of all economic activity.
