Toshihiro Anzai

...Network Art: Art that is presented using a communication environment such as the World Wide Web, or that is constructed through the participation of users. In addition to works that emphasize networking between people, such as "Renga" run by Nakamura Rieko and Anzai Toshihiro since 1992, and "Mega Diary" by Hachiya Kazuhiko, there are also many works that use Web content with ingenious concepts, designs, and systems, or interactive tips (VRML, Java, Shockwave, etc.), such as the works of MIT's Maeda John. "Art on the Net," which has been held by the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts since 1995, and "Inter Communication'95 on the Web: A Museum in the Network," held by the ICC, are also well-known.
