Awadhi - Awadee

…The title literally means "The Lake of Rama's Actions." It is a great epic poem based on the Awadhi dialect of Hindi, which is spoken in northern India, and consists of seven parts, about 10,000 verses, with a basic format of a combination of several four-line verses and one couplet of verses. It is said to have been started in Ayodhya in 1574 and completed a few years later in Kashi (now Varanasi).
