Anatosaurus (English spelling)
A fossil genus of reptiles in the Ornithischia order and Ornithopoda suborder. A dinosaur that flourished in the Late Cretaceous period. Its skull is long from front to back, wide and flat at the front, and is considered a representative genus of duck-billed dinosaurs that resemble ducks and duckbills. Its teeth are closely spaced, with as many as 500 on one side alone. The vertebrae have ossified tendons. Its body length is about 10m.
