...There are about 20 species in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, South Africa, etc. In Japan, there is the Ethiopian Acidanthella bicolor A. bicolor Hochst. and its variety Muriere. The more beautiful Muriere has white flowers with vivid purple-black-red spots at the base of the three inner petals, making it very attractive.
