…In 1957, the group was renamed Shochiku Girls' Opera Department (SSK), and after the dispute was resolved the following year, it became the Shochiku Girls' Opera Company (SSKD), and at the same time established the Shochiku Girls' Opera School. In 1962, the new Asakusa International Theater, which could accommodate 3,600 people, opened, and it became the group's home base. At the time, Mizunoe Takiko (1915-), who was popular as a "beauty in men's clothing" with her short hair, top hat, and tuxedo, and was affectionately nicknamed "Turkey," was at the height of her popularity, and Orie Tsusaka and others were also executives. …
