Father of Asaka Kisai. Grandfather of Asaka Tanpo. Served the Ogasawara clan and distinguished himself in the Battle of Sekigahara. Later, dissatisfied with his lord, he fled and changed his name to Ido Yosonai. He was taken up by Tokugawa Yorifusa, the first lord of the Hitachi Mito domain, and restored his original name.
