Jiuta songbook. Edited by Kikuzaki Kengyo and compiled by Asano Takuzo. A representative pillow-style songbook. Classified and collected according to the number of characters in the song title. The catalog lists the names of lyricists and composers, following the example of the Uta Keizu. First published in Bunka 2 (1805) by Osaka Katsuoya Rokubei, it was expanded in Bunsei 1 (18) and Kaei 1 (48), eventually including over 580 songs. It includes a catalog of koto group songs and shamisen honte (group songs), and the Bunsei edition includes an appendix of Yatsuhashi-ryu songs (lyrics) for koto group songs. Since the Meiji period, it has been supplemented, expanded, and revised several times. 地歌歌本。菊崎検校校訂,浅野高造編。枕本体裁の歌本の代表的なもの。曲名の字数によって分類集録。目録は『歌系図』にならって作詞者,作曲者名を記してある。文化2 (1805) 年大坂勝尾屋六兵衛により刊行されたのに始り,文政1 (18) 年,嘉永1 (48) 年と増補され,580曲余を収録するにいたった。箏組歌,三味線本手 (組歌) の目録を付し,文政版では箏組歌の八橋流唱歌 (歌詞) を付録とする。明治以降も補遺,増版,改版が数次にわたり行われた。
